The Official PVP & PVE Rules:

In addition to Terms of Service, the following rules apply to Shaiya Exile.

1. Kill Stealing is not allowed
you are NOT allowed to attack mobs that another player has agro'd. or KSing boss where another open raid been there
first. This includes mini Bosses,If player been in area first and not AFK for more than 2 min, as matter of respect to wait until s/he leave.Ammended:9/27/2017 - If their is a raid at crocks it must be open to all and everyone farming crocks must join that raid.
If you come upon a PVP boss and their is a raid there that raid has to be open to allow joiners.Anyone there after 1st raid must join 1st raid for the boss or they have to leave. (Exception: if 1st raid is full or not allowing you in,then you are free to attack the boss. Requires proof!!)
2. Advertising is not allowed INSTANT 1 TO 30 DAY BAN UP TO DISCRETION OF GM
This not limited to but including advertising, buying, selling or trading of accounts / items on any server or other game.
3.Safe Zones
Attacking,or Killing players inside the castles,their home base or in the hallway of World Cup (Dome), close enough to their veil to hit players inside the veil,or when they are porting into an area is bannable. Also, Players can not set a tele anywhere around an opponent's veil ( This includes Safe Zones Such As Castles and Bases In PvP Areas.) As well, Skills and item effects CAN NOT be used to bypass guards. This Includes but is not limited to Evolution, Goddess Apples, Disguise, Stealth, and other such effects.You are never allowed in an enemies base or castle.
Exceptions Lifted temporarily by a GM for an event:
AMENDED ON 1/15/2018 ANY PLAYER CAUGHT IN SS/VIDEO OR BY STAFF ATTACKING OR KILLING IN THESE AREAS WILL RECEIVE AN INSTANT 3 DAY BAN (REPORT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF INCIDENT)
4.HARASSMENT IS NO ALLOWED
This includes spamming in trades,begging,insulting,bashing. This must be stopped by the offending player when
asked or it will be considered a harassment.Also Spamming Emotions more than 5 times sequentially is harassment.It is also considered harassment if you continuously spam (many times in a minute for example) join a raid just to harass them.
Here is a sample of the words we do not allow in game:
Cunt
Fuck, FK or ANY variation on the word fuck
Asshole
Bitch
Any sexual innuendo like suck my dick or referring to any sexual action or body part.
Cocksucker
Faggot,Fag, Queer, Homo,Lesbian or any other sexual insult.
Shit
Slut, whore
No racist words like gypsy, nigger,nigga,felafel,chink,wetback, etc
Weirdly enough, I do allow "wtf" and "stfu". These expressions are common in online games and I don't mind them as much as saying fuck.

You CAN however, trash talk and use words like : pwned , owned, sleep, lay down,trash,punk , punked,ress out, you suck, etc.

5. Stat Padding
Stat padding is defined as killing a character who willingly and consistently allows him/herself to be killed with the
objective of helping other players increase their kill count. Any user caught stat padding will receive a ban and have
kills wiped from all characters on that account of same level.Punishment for stat padding is as follows:you will loose 3x the kills you stat padded and be banned for 3 days (we will always assume you have BFR so will count your kills double)
6. Terrain Exploits and Other Exploits
A Terrain exploit is defined as making use of terrain in a PVP map to gain an unfair advantage over other players. In
certain maps it might be possible to enter a location which is normally unreachable by players of the other faction.
You are not allowed to participate in PVP from such positions. If you access a location that can’t be reached using
normal character controls(ie running, jumping, riding),you are also using a Terrain Exploit.If you can attack others and they can't attack you you're using a Terrain Exploit. Also summoning at DD1 hill for example to regroup. or push.Moreover you can not have a Tele on any hill that can not be climb by everyone!
*Ammended 5/21/2018- Anyone caught using Cheat Engine or any 3rd party packet injector you will receive an auto 3 day ban for 1st offense*
7. Dual Boxing in PVP
A person can't use multiple toons to gain an advantage. For example: joining raid to have higher chance to get drops or attacking players with multiple toons even if not in same raid. Also, can't have a toon in both factions raids or on same pvp map at the same time. Amended 9/27/2017

8. Summoning Party Members
Summoning characters that are too high or low to enter the map via a portal is a bannable offense. If a character can
not get to the zone via a portal then the character is not allowed in the zone.
9. GRB ,exploiting bugs or glitches to gain advantages
If you are found using exploiting bug/glitch to gain unfair advantages, this is reportable and can result in a banned of
the account.For example: using runes to skillcut, linking 2x TEL in top,or jump + Stinger.
You are not allowed to kill the bosses in GRB more than once. Remaking raid and going back in GRB to kill bosses more than once will result in dismantling of guild.
10. Rules for raids:
PVP/Boss raid must be open for everyone and never on “Leader Gain Loot”. Players can not pvp out of raid.If the raid is full , the player needs to sit and try to get in the raid when there is a spot.
Also, Raid can’t be manual during event unless its Break Time during an event and the raid must be in town/base not further than faction guards.Moreover, can’t add anyone who was not in raid before break time on manual-join.In regular pvp you may manual raid anywhere to allow reloggers , but you are not allowed at any time to put a raid on manual to add a player who IS NOT a relogger.
Special Note:The PVP raid cannot be dismantled. PVP raid can be remade only if leader is AFK.Pass lead/leave raid if leader having issues with leading.Leaders can not summon raid out of pvp and dismantle.
*Exception*Raid can be locked when Cryptic the Immortal health reach 50%

11. Making additional raids in events or during regular pvp is not allowed.Being in PVP without being in the raid is also not allowed.
In any event or open pvp, only one raid is allowed on same map, 2nd raid or raidless players who refuse to sit and wait for spot in main raid will be jailed or kicked.If there are enough players on both factions GM's can request the raids be opened up to accommodate the excess players. Blitz or Bow can open up the raids to 60 on each side so no need for multiple raids.

12. Character's cannot have names that are offensive,racist, or in anyway misrepresent staff.

Raid Leader Rules to kick:
Leaders gotta take SS before kicking any player.
1.Toon is AFK
If player not attacking or responding or in different map for more than 3 min.
2.Toon is wearing clean gear that is not enchanted to [14], [using Silva 2, MP or Exile loops are not required.]
3. Dueling-Players battling each other during pvp
4. Attitude-Player is insulting,cursing,or causing drama in the raid.
5. Leaching-Somebody who is obviously hidden or doing very little purposely staying in the back to stay as far from the action. Or leeching drops from a boss or mobs and not attacking or afk (unmoving)
while being close enough to gain kills. Leader must prove this by recording Video or 3x SS Sequentially.
[color=#FF0000]Note:
1- Leader should not curse back a player if they started, just take SS then kick and report.
2- If a player is attacking, but he is not attacking what the leader is asking to kill, he can not be kicked.

CROCS:
All players from the same faction must be in the same raid. Anyone killing outside of a raid in the Croc area is breaking the rules and should join their faction's raid who are at the Crocs.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1- Don’t accuse or complain about anyone for breaking any rule. got something to prove ? then report it.
2- Attendance any staff in raid, scene is NOT a prove, they might be AFK , tabbing out or paying attention to something else.
3- If you think a staff broke any rule, then report to Admin.
4- If you took action by yourself because someone broke any rule, then you may get involved as well.
5- Staff reserves the right to ban without warning due to the severity, blatancy, or potential damage to the server.

From now on all reports must be posted on forums by the reporting person or no action will be taken. Unless it is something that is determental to the server. Like advertising other servers or somone threatening our server.

First offense is a warning , second offense is a 1 day ban, third offense is a 3 day ban , then next is a 7 day , after that is a 30 day. The next offense, we will consider a lifetime ban.
An offense rolls off after 30 days and resets the penalties.

Official warnings and bans drop off your record 30 days after the date the punishment ended.
